Senior Plant Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Plant Manager to lead two food manufacturing facilities in Northern New England. Job Responsibilities:Lead and oversee operations across two facilities, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and production goals.Maintain a highly visible, hands-on leadership presence on the production floorDevelop and manage multi-site budgets, capital planning, and cost reduction initiativesDrive continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational efficiencyMaintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including FDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and environmental requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and HR to achieve business objectivesLead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performing, results-driven culturePromote effective communication and collaboration across multiple sitesChampion a safe, compliant, and positive work environmentRequired Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred7+ years of experience in a fast paced/high volume Food and Beverage manufacturing environmentExperience managing 24/7 manufacturing operationsProven leadership experience in manufacturing across multiple sites or large-scale operationsStrong background in budgeting, planning, and cost managementDemonstrated experience overseeing processing, packaging, and transportation operationsIn-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standardsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership, communication, and team development skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systemsMust be within driving distance of Portland, ME or Southern NH. Relocation may be considered for candidates with strong ties to the area.
