Front Desk Clerk
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar position.
Previous experience in medical offices and medical billing.
Previous experience with medical billing programs.
Previous experience with Customer Service.
Responsibilities:
Answer the telephone and realize phone calls.
Treat every patient with care and courtesy.
Maintain a well-kept workplace.
Check In:
o Verify patient’s file and demographics.
o Run Medicaid to verify eligibility or medical referral as if needed.
Check Out:
o Verify name, both last names and date of birth of patient.
o Read the note and verify which procedure was realized, which procedure will be used in the future and verify if patient needs preauthorization as if needed.
Skills:
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Programs, Medical Platforms or Medical Insurance.
Knowledge of procedures and regulations of the medical and dermatologist industry.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Customer service oriented.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
