Orthopaedic Advanced Practice ProviderDartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center – Lebanon, NHDartmouth Health's Department of Orthopaedics is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner) to work at our academic medical center in Lebanon, NH and/or associated local satellite locations. This APP will work within the clinic seeing the full breadth of Orthopaedic conditions, assisting with pre and postoperative education and ongoing support, first-assisting in the OR, performing history and physical examinations, and initiating appropriate diagnostic tests to evaluate the patient's condition. Opportunities to subspecialize will be determined based on candidate's interests and experience.This is a full-time position, no overnight or weekend responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Initiate appropriate diagnostic tests to evaluate the patient's conditionAssess the findings and history, review of systems, physical examination and diagnostic testsDevelop implements and manages therapeutic treatment regimens in collaboration with our OrthopedistsPerform complete history and physical examinationsProvide pre and postoperative education and ongoing support to Orthopaedic patientsPromote teamwork and patient centered careRequirements:BLS certificationCurrent (or eligible) certification to practice as a PA or APRN in NHSuccessful completion of an approved PA/APRN programNational specialty certification as RNFA or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)What DHMC has to offer you:Up to $15,000 in relocation assistance (amount based on the distance of the move)Generous retirement programs with up to 6% employer matchPSLF eligibility and up to $10,000 in tuition repayment programInclusive and collegial team environmentAbout Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center:This position is based at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), Dartmouth Health's tertiary care central hub, which also serves as the system's Academic Medical Center.
