Stone - Project Technician - Apprentice Electrical Trainee

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Technician to join our growing team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall, program, start up, check out, certify, and provide customer training on assigned projectsRun wiring, install hardware, and field terminate all devicesInspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; adjust and repair as neededReplace malfunctioning hardware when necessaryEnsure all installations comply with Stone Security standards and industry regulationsRead and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to determine installation procedures; may require assistance with more complex specificationsMaintain a clean and safe work environment at job sitesPerform other related duties as requiredTravel as needed for project assignmentsWork collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, with opportunities to grow as Stone Security growsQualifications/SkillsActive Electrical Trainee CardMinimum 6 months of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch)Minimum 6 months of experience installing security systems (DMP, Bosch)Minimum 6 months of experience installing access control systems (Lenel, S2)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProven track record of leading a security installation teamAptitude for networking, computers, and general IT preferredEducation/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required6 months of related work experience requiredOn-the-job training may be providedPhysical RequirementsAbility to use hand and power tools for hardware installationProlonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing laddersPhysically able to install system hardware and wiringMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs at a timeStone, a BearCom Company, is proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
