Role Responsibilities Deliver ongoing, comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from young children to seniors. Address chronic conditions, preventive health, acute illnesses, and mental health issues with a focus on the patient's needs. Conduct thorough physical examinations, analyze diagnostic tests, and create tailored treatment strategies. Work with care coordinators and specialists to ensure fully integrated, patient-centered care. Use electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure meticulous and current patient documentation. Provide care both in-person and virtually, accommodating the preferences of patients. Education Requirements MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine. Certifications Active Board Certification in Family Medicine. Current or eligibility for an active medical license in Alaska. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
