We develop products in the open, you can read more about them at bitkey.build and mining.build.We are currently seeking a full stack developer who will be responsible for developing various dashboards related to our mining device. This includes the mining device dashboard, the mining management system dashboard, mining web API, and the website and e-commerce integrations for the mining device. The role will involve creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces to provide efficient monitoring and management capabilities for our mining operations.You will:Develop and maintain user-facing features of the mining device web dashboardDevelopment and ongoing maintenance of websites and e-commerce integrations for mining device productsCollaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfacesBuild scalable and efficient APIs and back-end services to support application functionalityParticipate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, designing, coding, testing, and deployingPerform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practicesTroubleshoot and debug issues reported by users and implement timely solutionsQualificationsYou have:8+ year experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experienceProficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, and modern JavaScript frameworksStrong knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js (or Rust-Actix) or similarProficiency in deploying websites using web servers such as Tomcat, or Apache or LighttpdExperience working with databases and writing efficient SQL queriesFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environmentStrong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutionsGood communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholdersNice to have:Understanding of embedded Linux development environmentsFamiliar with Socket based, multi threaded applicationsFamiliarity with Bitcoin mining concepts and technologiesExperience working with the Rust programming languageProficiency in multi-threaded programming and optimizing performanceAdditional InformationBlock takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
