Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer for the design of web handling and converting equipment. The Design Engineer (DE) is responsible for completing project designs, detailed drawings and bill of materials. The right candidate has a great attitude and is able to work independently and with a team. 1-2 years of Mechanical Design experience required. Background in machine design helpful but not essential. Responsibilities and Key Skills Include · Critical analysis and innovative solutions · Designing and detailing drawings using CAD · Collaborate with engineers, machinists, assemblers and technicians to complete projects efficiently · Familiarity with coaters, laminators, extruders, winders, unwinds or converting machinery is preferred · BS or AS in Mechanical Engineering is required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
