Must be able to work weekend shift 4x10D Thursday-Sunday
Job Description
Coats surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices, removes old paint from aircraft, using liquid paint remover and scraper.
Smoothes surface with sandpaper and steel wool, roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to insure that paint adheres to surface, masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted, and paint insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface, using stencils.
Will be working RAM coating, and various other paint shop tasks!
Must be willing to work Plastic Media Blasting
Painting, paint prep activities, and all aspects of aircraft painting
Must be able to wear a respirator
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Experience:
Aircraft Painting: 6 years (Preferred)
