Construction Project Manager
Full-Time Construction Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing commercial, multifamily, and high-rise construction projects. This role requires a professional with 6-12 years of relevant work experience who can effectively oversee all aspects of complex construction projects from inception to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Execution:Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure project designs meet client requirements and comply with local building codes and regulationsOversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to final handoverImplement and maintain project management best practices and methodologiesTeam Management and Leadership:Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staffAssign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team membersConduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goalsResolve conflicts and address issues that may arise during the projectBudget and Cost Control:Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising qualityMonitor and control project expenses, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective measuresNegotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to optimize project costsPrepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including cost projections and variance analysesQuality Assurance and Safety Management:Ensure all construction activities adhere to quality standards, building codes, and safety regulationsImplement and enforce site safety protocols to maintain a safe working environmentConduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential quality or safety issuesCollaborate with quality control teams to develop and implement quality assurance processesStakeholder Management and Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progressManage client expectations and address concerns promptly and professionallyCoordinate with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and community representatives as neededPrepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and solutionsRisk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the projectMonitor and manage project risks throughout the construction processImplement contingency plans when necessary to address unforeseen challengesConduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvementTechnology and Innovation:Utilize project management software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiencyStay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in construction managementKey Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.6+ years of progressive project management experienceExperience with managing projects exceeding $50M-$100M in value.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with project management platforms such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Excel.Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, contracts, and cost control practices.Capable of navigating active construction sites and ensuring safety compliance.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop project teams in a collaborative environment.Experience contributing to business development efforts, including networking and building professional relationships within the industry.
