Business Development Manager - Welding

Position OverviewThis is a high-performance business development role with a primary goal to aggressively grow coupon manufacturing services. The position is responsible for building a predictable revenue pipeline, closing new business, and establishing our client as a preferred partner for procedure & performance welding qualification testing and QA/QC services.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor & maintain existing client relationshipsDevelop and execute strategic account plans for key clientsOwn and drive revenue growth for coupon manufacturing as the #1 priorityProspect and close new business with fabrication shops, EPC firms, oil & gas, industrial contractors, and energy companiesConduct client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations to key QA/QC representatives/managersBuild, manage, and advance a disciplined pipeline from prospecting through closeExecute daily outreach across calls, email, LinkedIn, and field visitsConduct technical sales meetings, site visits, and solution presentationsDrive urgency, overcome objections, and close business consistentlyMaintain accurate CRM data, forecasting, and weekly pipeline reportingQualificationsDemonstrated high-level of sales success (10 years’ experience)Minimum High School Diploma or GEDAbility to grasp technical welding industry knowledge and nomenclatureAWS Certified Welding Inspector (Preferred)Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS D1.1, API 1104 (Preferred)#ZRWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
