Machine Operator
Studco Building Systems is currently looking for hard working fast paced production workers to support both our 1st and 2nd shift production teams. This is an entry level position with the opportunity and room for professional and monetary growth following our Operations Labor Model.
This is a 2nd shift position from: 3 PM - 11:45 PM. *Please note that 2nd shift has a 10% shift differential on top of base pay.
Machine Operators will be responsible for the following tasks:
Assisting on mill operation to produce products as laid out by production planning
Support performance of daily maintenance on machinery; report any damage or problems to the Production Supervisor/Team Lead.
Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to manufacturing details and customer/ supplier details.
Work safely, in accordance with Company Safety Policy.
Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Includes any uniforms, if supplied.
Performs other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor/Team Leader
Machine Operator Required Skills:
Strong Mechanical Aptitude
Desire to work in a fast paced environment
Reasoning Ability
Basic Math Skills to include the ability to read a ruler and tape measure
Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence & memo
Positive attitude
Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
Education – High School Diploma or GED
