Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. We want you to apply now!What you will do in this role:You will prepare patients for CT exam, explains procedure and ensure technical quality.You will promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education.You will possess knowledge of medical terminology sufficient to work accurately within the Imaging Department.You will serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff/student.You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department.What qualifications you will need:Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required.Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT is required.Current registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.Advanced certification in CT required within 6 months of employment.Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.American Heart Association BLS certification is required.Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 630+ bed healthcare system of hospitals in Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community. Bay Area is our full-service acute care hospital and offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular services, bariatric, GYN and robotic surgery. Bayview Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient short-term treatment for psychiatric patients ages 12 years and older, as well as substance abuse treatment. Northshore Emergency Center is a full-service 24-7 emergency department in Portland that offers outpatient laboratory, imaging and occupational services. Radiation Oncology offers advanced technology for treating cancer with the latest and most specific radiation therapies available.
