Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Houston, TX, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist will handle daily financial responsibilities such as processing expense reports, managing invoices, preparing journal entries, and assisting with general accounting tasks. Responsibilities also include reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team in achieving organizational goals. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Accounting principles, Finance, and handling Journal Entries.Experience in creating and managing Expense Reports and reconciling accounts.Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving and financial analysis.Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.Proficiency with accounting software and related tools; advanced Excel skills are a plus.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Experience in environmental services or similar industries is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative team environments.
