Other traits needed and desired for this role are:Assisting with contractor onboarding at scale, supporting the successful onboarding of 1,000+ contractors, including documentation collection, verification, and tracking;Reviewing contractor documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with eligibility and compliance requirements;Reviewing and monitoring contractor background checks, flagging issues, and partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies;Serving as a primary point of contact for HO vendor managers and vendors, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries via email, Microsoft Teams, and phone calls regarding contractor onboarding, compliance status, and documentation needs;Supporting change management efforts related to internal contractor processes, including communicating updates, reinforcing new workflows, creating SOPs, and supporting stakeholder adoption;Assisting with audits and ongoing monitoring of contractor records to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations;Contributing process improvements, documentation, and job aids to increase efficiency, clarity, and consistency across contractor operations.Training & Certification RequirementsSuccessfully complete DPS and CJIS certification and required trainings within the first week of employment.Maintain all certifications and compliance trainings as required.MUST HAVES0-2 years of professional experience in a human resource, administrative, or operations focused roleComfort using computer application systems and programsDemonstrated ability to manage high‑volume, detail‑oriented work in a fast‑paced environment.Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and follow‑through.Experience partnering cross‑functionally and communicating with external vendors.Ability to navigate frequent process updates and support operational change.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional stakeholder communication.Doesn’t spill the beans on the highest level of confidential mattersEmbody a “whatever it takes” spirit and ability to be flexible when priorities adjust on a quick timelineOpenness to giving and receiving frequent feedbackAbility to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environmentAbility to maintain emotional control under stressDemonstrated ability to work on a teamA dedication to learn, grow, and develop as a professionalTHE MUST HAVE BELIEFSBelief in and commitment to the mission and core values of YES Prep Public Schools Desire to disrupt systemic status quos in education Willingness to go above and beyond to disrupt said status quos Passion to develop resiliency through a relentless pursuit of jaw-dropping results Conviction that high expectations + high accountability = high performance and high growth THE NICE TO HAVESBachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institutionExperience with Human Resources, Benefits, or Payroll systemsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft programsTHE PERKSCompensation – This position is a non-exempt, hourly position; hourly rates commensurate with experience.Professional Development - YES Prep values longevity and performance over time.
