Assembly/ Test Technician

Job Title: Assembly/ Test TechnicianDuration: 12-months contractLocation: Elma, NY 140591st shiftKey ResponsibilitiesPerform hydraulic and electrical assembly on complex components and systems Utilize mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements Interpret and work from technical drawings, work instructions, and parts lists Conduct operational testing of finished products using high-precision test stands Set up and operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment Diagnose test failures and evaluate hardware conditions Recommend rework instructions and configuration changes to achieve desired results Document performance results and provide detailed written communication on findings Production & Administrative DutiesSupport day-to-day production administrative activities within the team Contribute to overall operational efficiency and workflow coordination Additional ResponsibilitiesTravel occasionally to customer or company locations to support or service hardware Work off-shift hours when required to meet customer delivery schedules Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent technical training 5 years of experience in a related technical field OR 3 years of directly related hands-on experience Nice to Have SkillsAbility to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Experience using precision measuring tools Hands-on experience with various hand tools
