Our team is committed to excellence and strives to exceed expectations in every cleaning task.Position Overview:As a Parking Garage Cleaner at FCS Facility Services, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of parking facilities. This position focuses on ensuring garage areas-including drive lanes, stairwells, elevators, and entry/exit points-are clean, debris-free, and presentable for customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to working safely in an active, high-traffic environment.Key Responsibilities:Garage Cleaning & Maintenance:Sweep and clean parking levels, ramps, stairwells, and walkways to remove debris, dirt, and trashUse blowers, sweepers, or other equipment to maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areasRemove oil spots, spills, and stains using appropriate cleaning methods and materialsTrash Removal:Empty trash receptacles throughout the garage and surrounding areasReplace liners and dispose of waste in designated locations following proper proceduresPressure Washing & Surface Care:Assist with or perform pressure washing of floors, walls, and entry/exit areas as neededMaintain cleanliness of signage, payment stations, and high-touch surfacesRestroom Maintenance (if applicable):Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floorsRestock soap, paper towels, and other suppliesEquipment & Facility Upkeep:Report maintenance issues such as broken equipment, lighting outages, or safety hazardsAssist with basic upkeep tasks to support overall facility operationsSafety & Compliance:Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working in vehicle traffic areasUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredMaintain awareness of surroundings to ensure personal and public safetyQualifications:Previous janitorial or outdoor cleaning experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to work in an active parking environment with vehicle traffic and varying weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyGood communication and teamwork skillsPhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periodsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to perform repetitive tasks, including sweeping, bending, and reachingComfortable working in indoor and outdoor environmentsAdditional Requirements:Dependable and punctualWillingness to learn and follow instructionsAbility to pass background check and drug screening, if requiredFull-time schedule: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
