Ark Healthcare & Rehabilitation at Governor's House - 1.Position Summary: The Housekeeping Assistant ensures that the facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times.F Follows specific cleaning and service instructions as outlined by the director of environmental services2. Follows cleaning procedures in a safe manner3. Completes all assignments scheduled in each unit4. Gives an assigned unit attention needed to provide a sanitary, odor free, orderly environment for all concerns5. Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs6. Maintains equipment in good working condition and returns it to proper location after use7. Assists with room changes, as needed8. Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights9. Performs other duties as requestedEducational/Vocational Requirements:1. High School Degree or equivalent2. This position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to medical and physical needs
