Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all of the company's safety procedures.Position OverviewThe Civil Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field operations on civil construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications and company standards. This role leads field crews, coordinates daily activities, and works closely with Project Managers to drive successful project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all on-site civil construction activities, including sitework, concrete, underground utilities, and structural foundationsPlan, coordinate, and supervise daily work activities of field crews, subcontractors, and equipment resourcesEnsure strict adherence to safety standards and promote a culture where safety is a core value on every jobsiteMonitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts to keep projects on trackCoordinate with Project Managers on manpower planning, equipment needs, and production goalsReview plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate execution of workMaintain high-quality standards and minimize rework through proper oversight and planningOversee site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and jobsite organizationComplete and maintain accurate daily reports, including labor, equipment, and production trackingCommunicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and project successIdentify and resolve field issues in a timely and effective mannerQualifications5+ years of experience in civil construction, with proven experience in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of civil construction practices, including earthwork, concrete, underground utilities, and site developmentAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and drive productivityStrong understanding of petrochemical safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe jobsiteExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience working in petrochemical industrial environmentBo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is an E-Verify employer and all candidates must be willing to submit to any job related background check, fitness for duty, and drug screen that are required during the hiring process.
