Line Cook -Experienced
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards. This role requires a passion for cooking and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while adhering to recipes and plating standards . High paced small kitchen with high standards seeking the right passionate person who desires a place to learn and grow as a chef.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes accurately and maintain food preparation processes
- Stock and maintain designated food stations daily
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and techniques
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary school diploma is a plus
