Mixed Methods UX Researcher (Remote - CA or NY)

This role is remote in New York or California.You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge qualitative as well as quantitative user research, partnering closely with other researchers as well as product, data science, design, and other functions. You may be involved in a survey and complex qualitative design, analysis, and reporting.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver actionable insightsDevelop and execute research roadmaps aligned to product and business goalsLead end-to-end quantitative and qualitative research across the product lifecycleDesign and conduct studies, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and longitudinal researchContribute research insights to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market plansConduct competitive research and large-scale survey initiativesDesign survey instruments to evaluate user behavior, cognition, and positioningLeverage AI tools for data collection, analysis, and insight generationIntegrate AI into qualitative and quantitative research workflowsSynthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholdersAdapt research approaches based on evolving priorities and stakeholder needsPartner cross-functionally to define research goals and evaluate outcomesManage multiple research projects and deliverables simultaneouslySkills And QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, Business, or a related field8+ years of experience in product or user researchStrong mixed-method research expertise (qualitative and quantitative)Experience conducting usability testing and user experience researchProficiency with research tools such as UserTesting, UserZoom, Lookback, dscout, and Optimal WorkshopFamiliarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar platformsStrong quantitative skills, including statistical analysis and interpretationExperience designing and executing surveys, benchmarking, and longitudinal studiesAbility to synthesize research findings into clear, impactful recommendationsStrong collaboration and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environmentsExperience integrating AI tools into research workflowsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience moderating 1:1 user sessionsStrong attention to detailAdvanced experience leveraging AI for research efficiency and insightsWe offer a competitive salary range for this position.
