Full Job Description
Our company is seeking a reception office clerk / cashier with diverse skills. The successful candidate will have experience functioning as a liaison between clients and the accounting department and will be responsible for performing administrative work and other duties as assigned by the company executives. We're looking for a responsible, articulate, and motivated individual who can quickly identify vulnerabilities and obstacles and create innovative solutions toproblems.
Job Responsibilities but are not limited to follow:
Take phone calls professionally and in a friendly, fast, and timely manner.
Transmit and take phone call messages and direct them to the right person.
Book reservations, sell bus tickets, check-in customers, handle customer lost and found, and customer complaints.
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Prepare and audit driver paperwork.
Open and closing shift duties.
Maintain Check-in office and front desk area neat and clean.
Perform general clerical duties such as scanning, faxing, sorting, filing, and typing.
Replying to company email.
Maintaining reports in Excel spreadsheet and other systems.
Candidate must be flexible and open to performing various tasks as the supervisor and manager requested.
REQUIREMENT:
Proficiency in English; Knowledge of other languages a plus.
A stable employment history, dependability with consistent attendance, and punctuality.
Must have a High School diploma / GED.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
At least two years of experience in customer service and money handling is required.
Must know how to type at least 40+ words per minute .
Basic office machinery (copier, fax, scanner) with experience in an office environment.
Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
Must have advanced problem-solving and handling of customer complaints.
Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Requires the ability to walk and stand during working hours.
Reliable transportation; must be available to work any shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Must pass a criminal background check and a Drug-free workplace.
Must be proficient with Excel, have strong alpha/numeric data entry; have experience handling confidential information; must have the ability to multi-task and wear multiple hats. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
