Structural Project Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Austin, TX. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced structural engineering professional with 10+ years of design, project management, and team leadership experience in engineering services. This opportunity offers the chance to lead meaningful structural design projects, mentor technical staff, oversee quality standards, and work closely with clients from concept through construction documentation. Key Responsibilities - Lead structural engineering projects from planning and design through construction documentation and project delivery. - Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and client expectations to support successful outcomes. - Perform and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents. - Provide QA/QC oversight to ensure technical accuracy, code compliance, and high-quality deliverables. - Coordinate with architects, contractors, internal design teams, and external project stakeholders. - Mentor junior engineers and support team development, technical growth, and project execution. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year. - Direct hire, full-time position. - Location: Austin, TX. - Hybrid work arrangement. - Relocation assistance available. - Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance. - 401(k), profit sharing, paid holidays, and annual discretionary bonus. - PTO starts at 22 days.
