Project Manager 3

Kforce is looking for a Project Manager 3 to come aboard a contract to hire opportunity with one of our clients in Clifton, NJ.Responsibilities:Provides construction management, architectural design, and code compliance support in the Facilities Management groupCoordinates work of contractors and interfaces with customers to accommodate program requirementsTypical projects include building renovations, capital infrastructure improvements, equipment installations and associated site work to support the relocation or expansion of personnel and assets in support of changing business needsResponsibilities cover all phases of project management including, evaluation of requirements, estimating, scheduling, budget management design oversight, construction management and project close outRole is customer focused, metric driven and has an expectation of value engineering, process efficiencies, and cost improvementsUtilizes business operating systems, to deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence to all aspects of the departmentManages several projects at one time, having sole responsibility for large to small projects and supporting additional projects as a team member, engineering or construction management resourceWorks in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneouslyWorks closely with Facilities Maintenance and Operations teamsSupports the development of capital and expense budgets for the corporation* Bachelor's degree with 6 years of prior related experience in Engineering or related field or Graduate degree with 4 years of prior related experienceExperience in facilitating the design and project execution of architectural, electrical, and HVAC systemsProject management skills coupled with the ability to effectively manage and partner with contractors, vendors and team membersKnowledge of applicable laws and regulations including those mandated by OSHA, ADA, NFPA, NEC, EPA and local Building CodeMicrosoft Office, AutoCAD, MS Project and Estimating softwareExperience working with engineering blueprints, process specifications and building layoutsExperience with both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projectsOrganizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written)Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationNice to have:* Looking for someone with LN2 infrastructure (liquid nitrogen system) experience
