We are adding a Relief Driver who will be responsible for driving the mobile medical imaging equipment to Customers and to other locations as needed. Relief Drivers also assist patients at various clinics and medical facilities when covering a route. The ideal candidate will reside in one of the following areas: northern Texas, Oklahoma, southern Nebraska, western Missouri, southern Kansas, and western Arkansas. Routes will be across the continental US.
Responsible for:
Transporting the mobile unit to customer locations.
Maintaining the truck and trailer which includes checking and maintaining the fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors and emergency lighting and scheduling and documenting preventive maintenance as necessary.
Inspecting the truck before and after each trip and submit a report indicating truck conditions.
Maintaining driver logs according to DOT regulations.
Will assist the technologist with various duties including transporting patients from the facility to the mobile unit and back.
This position will require you to travel 100% of the time including one overnight each week.
Computer Skills
The individual should have the ability to access job related internet websites, email, fluent in use of ELD (can train in ELD)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Testing
CDL - Class A, mandatory education, CPR, Hepatitis B, TB
Valid Medical Card
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl
Climb up and down stairs
Lift up to 100 pounds occasionally

Requirements
Per DOT regulations, must be 21+ years of age
Class A CDL
Valid DOT medical card
One year recent truck driving experience.
No more than threemoving violations in the past threeyears
No major violations on MVR in last 5 years (reckless driving, DUI, etc...)
No major preventable accidents in the past 3 years
Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, customer service, time management and organizational skills
The ability to work independently, make decisions, work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
