Sales & Operations AccountantSalary $100,000 – $115,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Mid-westThis growing food manufacturing is a food and beverage manufacturer. We are adding a newly created role to support continued growth and operational excellence. Seeking an Accountant who has experience working with the Sales group on contracts, bonus structures, and margin reporting.This Accountant role is a highly analytical, cross‑functional role supporting Sales, Operations, and Production Planning. As the Accountant, you’ll focus on sales‑related financial analysis and operational insight, not traditional accounting activities such as journal entries or month‑end close. You will be in a business‑facing role requiring strong partnership and communication skills.Key Responsibilities for the Sales Accountant:Manage, analyze, and reconcile sales‑related financial activities, including margin reportsVerify adherence to pricing strategies, promotional discounts, and incentive programsReview and analyze sales contract proposalsAnalyze margins by product line, formulas, regions, and customersPartner with Sales and Production Planning on revenue forecastingPerform cost analysis related to raw materials, packaging, logistics, and production inputsMonitor and analyze finished goods inventory movement and accuracyCollaborate extensively across Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.Minimum qualifications for this Accounting position:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 2 years of manufacturing accounting experience, preferably in food or beverageExperience with sales incentive structures, promotional accounting, and pricing strategiesWorking knowledge of inventory and cost accountingStrong ERP system experienceAdvanced Excel skillsAbility to thrive in a cross‑functional, fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
