A growing industrial technology company is seeking Automation & Controls Systems Engineers to join its collaborative engineering team.This is a direct hire opportunity offering hands-on involvement in machine controls, software development, commissioning, and advanced automation projects with domestic and international exposure.What You'll Do: • Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems for advanced industrial machinery and processes • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop control strategies and system architectures • Develop and document software for machine controls, HMI, SCADA, and automation platforms • Perform hands-on testing, debugging, commissioning, and factory acceptance activities • Support customer integrations, troubleshooting, and controls-related technical issues • Interface with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams • Contribute to technical documentation, operations manuals, and project executionWhat We're Looking For: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering required • 2+ years of related engineering experience preferred • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, machine tool, power generation, or similar engineering environments • Experience with electrical systems, electrical drawings, and cross-functional engineering collaboration • AutoCAD experience required (Electrical AutoCAD strongly preferred) • ERP and Microsoft Office proficiency required • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a collaborative mindsetHighly Desired Technical Experience: • Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc, PLC/CNC/HMI/SCADA platforms • Robot programming (ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, or similar) • LabView exposure • Industrial communication protocols and networking • Electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic systemsSchedule & Travel: • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM • Approximately 30% travel (domestic & international) — typically one week per month • Some overtime/weekend work based on project needs (paid overtime eligible)Compensation & Benefits: • $80,000 – $130,000 base salary • Profit-sharing incentive program • Comprehensive healthcare benefits • 401(k) program • Direct hire opportunity with long-term growth potentialIf you're an engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and seeing your work come to life in real-world industrial applications, this could be an excellent next step.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
