Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Material Handler to oversee daily warehouse inventory management. This is a key support role that helps keep our office, warehouse, and team running smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a commercial warehouse, is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with physical warehouse tasks. You’ll work closely with leadership, project managers, and the warehouse manager to maintain a well-organized and professional environment.
What You’ll Do:
Office & Facility Upkeep
Submit and track all office/warehouse purchase and inventory requests
Receive, review, distribute, and stock all office and warehouse supplies
Conduct quarterly material audits to ensure accurate stock levels
Maintain cleanliness and organization of conference rooms, shared spaces, and printing areas
Ensure breakrooms are cleaned and fully stocked daily
Ensure all restrooms are clean, sanitized, and fully stocked and sign-off sheet is completed(morning, noon and end of day)
Morning janitorial duties are completed(printers stocked, trash cans are emptied, water containers filled)
Manage weekly deep-cleaning tasks (refrigerator, snack inventory, etc.)
Maintain overall professional appearance of office and common areas
Tool & Inventory Management
Log and track inventory and tools in Salesforce to maintain material inventory accuracy
Conduct weekly/monthly inventory audit checks for inventory, tools and equipment
Perform daily forklift and tool inspections; coordinate repairs when needed
Warehouse & Logistics Responsibilities
Fulfill pull tickets, purchase request, inventory/tool requests.
Load and unload incoming, returned and finished materials
Log, organize, and store incoming, returned and finished materials
Coordinate outgoing shipments for projects and customer requests
Oversee warehouse cleanliness and daily trash removal
Conduct monthly warehouse inventory checks
Conduct monthly fire extinguisher checks
Conduct monthly generator checks
Audit Project Managers return racks quarterly in coordination with Project Managers
Schedule routine maintenance for vehicles and forklifts
Assist with warehouse organization, including rack adjustments as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial warehouse required
High School Diploma or GED required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Forklift operation experience (or willingness to be trained)
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, dependable, and proactive
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Interior Services Competent Person Certification provided (training included).
