This position primarily services all production operations within the facility. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Candidate needs to be available to train on day shift (Monday-Thursday 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.) for 2-6 months.Role ResponsibilitiesArc and gas welding, cutting, brazing, silver and soft solderingInterpret blueprints and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping) for machines and buildingsTroubleshoot electrical A/C and D/C circuits using electrical metering equipmentTroubleshoot hydraulic systemsTroubleshoot pneumatic systemsUse basic shop tools such as lathes, mills, drill presses, saws, grinders, etc.Install and relocate equipmentRun conduit for electrical servicesWork at heightsMaintain preventative maintenance programs in assigned areasPlan, implement, and finalize assigned projects with minimal supervisionComplete work order records accurately and timely using Maintenance computer softwareProvide positive feedback for corrective action plans to improve equipment reliabilityWork in a team-oriented atmosphere and work closely with internal customers to meet customer expectationsRepair production equipment in a manner such to minimize interruption to productionOperation of Overhead CranesMaintain buildings and grounds as neededInspect, dismantle, service, reassemble, test and adjust equipment of all types for safe and proper operationMaintain a clean and orderly work area, and take proper care of tools and equipmentComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresComply with all Health and Safety policies and proceduresAdhere to designated Personal Protective Equipment policiesHousekeeping, 6S and other duties as assigned or apparentSuccessfully complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material TrainingWhile this list is representative of essential job duties, it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role.
