Demolition LaborerThe Demolition Laborer supports restoration and reconstruction projects by performing controlled demolition, site preparation, debris removal, and cleanup activities following fire, water, and mold losses. This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work in fast-paced, sometimes hazardous environments.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform demolition of damaged materials including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, insulation, and other structural componentsRemove debris and dispose of materials in accordance with job specifications and safety standardsSet up containment and protection barriers as directedLoad and unload materials, tools, and equipmentAssist with jobsite preparation and cleanup throughout the project lifecycleFollow all safety protocols, including PPE and OSHA guidelinesWork collaboratively with mitigation, contents, and reconstruction teamsMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sitesPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications and RequirementsPrevious demolition, construction, or restoration experience preferredAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull 80+ pounds on a regular basisComfortable working in environments affected by fire, water, or mold damageAbility to use hand and power tools safelyStrong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learnMust be able to work flexible hours, including possible weekend shiftsValid driver's license and insurable driving record preferredPhysical DemandsFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and liftingExposure to dust, debris, noise, and varying weather conditionsUse of personal protective equipment requiredPre-Employment Requirements Any offer of employment is contingent upon:Successful completion of a background screeningPre-employment drug screening and physicalConfirmation of an insurable driving record (if driving company vehicles)Benefits (if applicable)Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOvertime opportunitiesTraining and advancement opportunities within the restoration industryCompany-provided uniforms and safety equipmentCompensation: $18.00 per hour"We Build Careers" - Steve White, President and COOWith over 300 locations across North America and Canada, PuroClean is leading the industry in emergency property restoration services, by helping families and businesses overcome the devastating setbacks caused by water, fire, mold, biohazard, and other conditions resulting in property damage.
