Java Backend Developer (Java + SQL)

Blutic is seeking Java Backend Developers with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our high-performing team. This role requires strong expertise in Java , Spring Framework , SQL , Test-Driven Development (TDD) , and multi-threading . Experience in the investment banking domain is highly preferred. You will work on complex, high-performance financial systems that drive critical operations.This is a W2 (Hybrid) opportunity.Location: New YorkExperience: 3-5 YearsMust-Have Required Skills & Qualifications:Hands-on experience in Java development.Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).SQL and database performance tuning.Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit/integration tests.Experience with multi-threading , concurrent programming, and low-latency systems.Object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and architectural principles.Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.A completed Bachelor's degree.Preferred:Prior experience in the investment banking domain or financial services.Familiarity with FIX protocol, trading platforms, or risk management systems.Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools.Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
