Material Handler 3rd Shift

Brief DescriptionThe Material Handler provides support for HPP by moving product from Warehouse and HPP production areas.Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key AccountabilitiesUtilize a manual pallet jack to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materialsUse a standup forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and count product and materialsPerforming inventory counts for accuracy and discrepanciesShipping and receiving duties as assignedUse radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and put away.Safe and efficient operation of the vehiclePerform order filler and checker dutiesMaintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policyFollowing health, safety, and cleanliness standardsOther duties as assignedRequirementsPreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED6 months MHE/Standup forklift experience preferredAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyExperience using warehouse management and inventory systemsRefrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to perform basic mental mathAbility to communicate in English (speak, read, and write)Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWorking Conditions This job operates in a wet and cold environment located within a manufacturing facility. The average temperature is 32 degrees. This position requires the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours shifts and perform repetitive bending, twisting and lifting. It requires the ability to lift 45 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. rarely.
