Build district partnerships & support instructional improvementServe as a primary point of contact for partner school systemsConduct needs assessments with district leaders to inform professional learning and curriculum planningCo-design and implement district-level professional learning plansSupport alignment of instruction to Oklahoma Academic Standards, career pathways, and high-quality STEM practicesProvide ongoing coaching, follow-up, and implementation support2. Design & deliver professional learningCreate sustained, high-quality professional learning experiences aligned to district and TRSA goalsBuild learning pathways that develop educator capacity over timeDifferentiate experiences for teachers, instructional coaches, and administratorsEvaluate effectiveness and adjust based on feedback and outcomes3. Develop curriculum & instructional resourcesHelp districts select, adapt, and implement high-quality instructional materialsCurate and develop CS/math-aligned resources that integrate into district curriculaAlign TRSA resources (e.g., STEM in a Bag, STEM Shoppe) to district instructional prioritiesEnsure all materials support equitable, standards-aligned instructionRequired QualificationsPassion for high-quality STEM education and expanding access for all learnersBachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in STEM education, curriculum development, or professional development designStrong organizational, communication, and project management skillsProficiency with Google Suite and data tools, including ExcelAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to equity, inclusion, and reflective practiceValid driver's license and ability to travel locally (1+ trips/week) and occasionally overnightPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in a STEM-related field or education5+ years of experience in education, curriculum design, or professional developmentPrevious industry experience in a STEM-related fieldFamiliarity with Oklahoma Academic Standards and computer science or mathematics pedagogyExperience with grant writing or grant-funded programsCompensation & BenefitsHealth, dental, and life insurance50% 401k match (up to 3%)160 hours PTO annually40 hours of monthly Virtual Office Leave10 paid holidaysIf you or someone you know is passionate about expanding STEM opportunities for Oklahoma's students and educators, we encourage you to check out the full job description and apply at TulsaSTEM.org/Careers.
