SummaryPerforms maintenance tasks as part of the Maintenance department, in support of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Maintains, repairs, and installs physical plant systems including, but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, exhibits and paths on grounds by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.Performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry fabrication, welding fabrication. Installs system material and components in accordance with blue prints, manuals, building codes and ASDM operating standards.Performs general painting on buildings inside and out.Maintenance, repair and installation of plumbing systems though out the Museum.Maintenance, repair and installation of telephone and data cabling systems.Maintenance, repair and installation of ASDM Filter Building pumps and water systems.Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on all ASDM refrigerators, freezers, and other equipment.Assists other departments as required.Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
