Financial Reporting Supervisor - Motor Club

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Reporting Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $130,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:Oversee month end close reporting and ensure internal financial statements are timely and accurate.Review journal entries perform expense analysis and resolve noted discrepancies with clear follow up.Approve and evaluate balance sheet reconciliations and investigate items that require correction.Maintain internal controls support auditor requests and coordinate cross functional information needs.Lead team improvements by promoting automation balanced workload cross training and efficient processes.Requirements:A Bachelor degree in accounting or a related field with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Bring formal supervisory experience of one to two years or more with responsibility for coaching and performance.Demonstrate general ledger experience and prior work preparing financial statements.Communicate professionally with all levels and manage multiple deadlines in a results focused environment.Use Excel at an advanced level and work effectively in office applications with familiarity in Oracle or Hyperion considered helpful.Qualifications: Supervise a team and set clear expectations while mentoring seniors and staff toward consistent results. Deliver thorough variance analysis and provide actionable insights that improve forecast and budget discipline.Drive change by identifying process gaps and implementing improvements that enhance accuracy and speed.Collaborate with other departments to understand data flows and strengthen reporting quality.
