The Shipping Clerk / Office Administrator plays a key role in managing the logistics of outgoing shipments while also assisting with routine office administrative tasks. This position requires handling shipping logistics, applying labels, scheduling truck pick-ups, and maintaining organized office records. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks in both warehouse and office environments.
Duties
Apply shipping labels to pallets and ensure accurate packaging for outgoing shipments.
Schedule and coordinate truck pick-ups for deliveries to meet deadlines.
Organize and maintain shipping documentation and records for audit purposes.
Assist with office administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate digital and physical records.
Use shipping software to create shipping labels, process orders, and track deliveries.
Support the office team with basic clerical duties, including answering phones and handling office correspondence.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in both shipping and office areas.
Skills
Proficient in computer operations, including email, spreadsheets, and shipping software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with shipping procedures, packaging methods, and logistics coordination.
Basic office administration skills, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors.
