Drawing on our collective experience, including our work as the chief lobbyist for the Virginia School Boards Association, we are uniquely positioned to deliver sophisticated legal advice that touches on some of most cutting-edge legal developments in our field. As leaders in our space, educational institutions often turn to us for advice on and to litigate important and developing constitutional issues and other emerging statutory and regulatory areas. As a small boutique law firm, we have a mindset that no work around the office is too insignificant for us to do. You will have direct client- contact and be given extensive responsibilities, even as a new Associate. We work as a team and believe in building people up, so you will receive constant training and feedback. You must be admitted to practice in Virginia, be in good standing with the Virginia State Bar, and should have excellent academic credentials, and strong writing, research, and communication skills. Litigation experience of 1-3 years (which may include judicial clerkship) preferred but not required.
