Apply via Dice today!Rack Level Integration EngineerSanta Clara, CA (Onsite)Salary: USD $131,010 – $185,000 / yearAbout The RoleSeeking a highly skilled Rack Level Integration Engineer to support advanced AI compute rack integration and validation initiatives within the Networking Business Unit. This role focuses on validating and integrating Marvell Photonic Fabric and all components inside next-generation AI compute rack environments.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in rack-level integration, AI compute infrastructure, optical interconnects, rack management, and hands-on hardware integration within lab environments.Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of rack-level integration solutions for complex AI infrastructure projects Integrate rack-level optical interconnects and ensure seamless hardware/software compatibility Configure and validate AI compute rack components including:Servers Accelerators Networking switches Optical backplanes Power shelves Cooling solutions Set up, test, and qualify complete rack solutions to meet performance, reliability, and efficiency standards Integrate and configure Smart PDUs for optimized power distribution Manage rack-level monitoring, automation, and control functions Perform hands-on lab racking and stacking activities for high-touch rack configurations Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for integrations and validations Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, customers, vendors, and program managers Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 3–5 years of experience OR Master’s degree / PhD with 2–3 years of relevant experience OR Equivalent professional experience in lieu of formal education Must-Have SkillsMinimum 3+ years of hands-on rack-level integration experience Strong understanding of AI compute rack configurations and integrated components Experience with rack-level management functions and integration best practices Proficiency in Mechanical and Thermal CAD tools Experience testing and qualifying rack-level solutions for performance and reliability Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Preferred SkillsExperience with rack-level optical interconnects Experience working in high-tech environments Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time Work Model: Onsite Location: Santa Clara, California eye
