Description The Quality Inspector is responsible for the inspection, documentation, and certification of critical components throughout the production process, including parts subject to flight safety requirements. This role ensures compliance with AS9100, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements through precise measurement and rigorous recordkeeping.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Performs various inspection activities utilizing precision inspection equipment at all phases of product manufacturing. Uses GD&T concepts, customer supplied specifications, and internal standards, to ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and other regulatory requirements.Pay Range: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour Position Requirements Read and understand complex engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerance specificationsCompare recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notify specified persons of discrepancies using NCF and MRB processFamiliarity with the use of various inspection and measurement equipment, i.e. CMM, FARO Arm, Borescope, Optical Comparator, etc. preferredStrong understanding of units of measure and applicability to GD&T principlesMust be self-motivated and able to adjust to a dynamic work environment and tempo while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Strong professional ethics combined with the ability to function well on teams.Experience in aerospace manufacturing or similarly regulated industry preferred.Familiarity with performing various inspection activities to include, i.e., 1st piece, in-process, final inspectionsHigh School Diploma or GEDKnowledgeable of MS Word, and ExcelMinimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in the operation of CMM's preferred (Mitutoyo/Metris/Zeiss)Familiarity with operation/programming of FARO arm preferred Shift First Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Location Applied Aerospace & Defense, Santa Ana Category Quality Control Req Number QUA-26-00002 Position Quality Inspector Close Date Post Internal Days 0 Number of Openings 1 Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Hiring Manager(s) Jacqueline Cadena This position is currently accepting applications.Apply Now
