Senior Project/Program Manager – Commercial Banking Technology & OperationsContract length: 12-24 monthsLocation: Remote but need to be located in a nearby hub (Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Dallas, New York, Tempe)OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within Commercial Banking Technology & Operations. This role drives complex technology integrations, conversions, and transformation programs—often in the context of mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise-wide change. The ideal candidate is a hands-on executor who can operate effectively across all levels of the organization while maintaining strong structure, governance, and delivery discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end technology and operational integration programs, including system conversions and platform alignment.Coordinate across technology and operations workstreams, managing dependencies and delivery plans.Serve as the central interface between line-of-business leaders, technology teams, operations partners, and enterprise stakeholders.Work effectively up and down the organization, influencing senior leaders while actively engaging delivery teams.Break down large initiatives into actionable work packages across both Technology and Operations.Define scope, milestones, risks, and success metrics for all workstreams.Drive execution through hands-on problem solving, risk mitigation, and removal of delivery blockers.Provide clear and consistent communication on program status, decisions, and outcomes.Required Experience & Qualifications8+ years of program or project management experience within financial services.Proven experience leading technology integrations and system conversions.Strong understanding of commercial banking products and operations, including lending, leasing, and payments.Demonstrated ability to create structure in complex, ambiguous environments.Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills & AttributesExperience working in highly regulated banking environments.Strong background partnering with Technology and Operations teams simultaneously.Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused.Leadership presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.
