The Architectural Manager will have great client management and communication skills to represent IPS professionally for its client portfolio.Responsibilities And ExpectationsOrganize and direct the architectural and/or engineering team to execute work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated mannerProvide project team coordination and/or supervision for finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionDevelop and coordinate drawings and specifications including: program compliance, code and agency compliance, schedule commitments, and product researchWork with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesProvide input to the design and construction scheduleCommunicate the technical implications of design decisionsHandle project-level verbal and written client communicationServe as the primary client liaison to bring schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfactionActively manage project budget, scope, and schedule; project communications and documentation; and project team assignmentsDevelop proposal and contracts; estimate fees; determine scope of worksEducation And ExperienceAt least 5-7 years of experience at an architectural firm or design/build practice specific to architectural/mechanical/process/electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, semi-conductor, or pharmaceutical projects (equivalent experience is also acceptable)AIA or NCAARB highly desirableProject Management Certification (PMP, MPM, etc.) preferred but not requiredConstruction Management, Architectural, or Engineering degree preferred but not requiredCompetencies And QualitiesExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsField experience is a plusAutoCAD and/or REVIT proficiencyProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar 3D modeling/rendering softwareProficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environmentDetail‐oriented and organizedStrong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to adapt to ever-changing project needs and prioritiesReliable, responsible, and able to communicate well with colleagues, consultants, and clientsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyProactive and self‐motivatedA sense of humor and a team player
