Why This Opportunity Stands Out Up to $40/hour (Based on Experience) Flexible part-time schedule (20–30 hours/week) Work with advanced fabrication equipment and high-spec projects Join a team known for precision, quality, and collaboration Make a real impact without the burnout of full-time hours What You’ll Be Doing Develop and implement welding procedures (WPS/WPQ) in line with industry standards Evaluate materials, welding methods, and consumables for fabrication projects Inspect welds and ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, and client specifications Partner with production and quality teams to troubleshoot and improve processes Provide technical guidance and training to welding staff Support continuous improvement and help eliminate defects before they become problems What You Bring Background in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and fabrication techniques Experience with welding codes (AWS, ASME, etc.) and quality standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or similar certifications are a big plus Problem-solver mindset with strong communication skills The Ideal Candidate You’re the kind of person who walks into a shop, spots inefficiencies like they’re glowing neon, and quietly fixes them before lunch.
