PRN Mammography Technologist

Job descriptionPosition Type: PRN | Traveling RoleLocation: Various Locations (Travel Required)About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traveling Mammography Technologist to join our mobile breast imaging team. In this role, you will operate a Hologic mammography system while traveling to multiple locations to provide exceptional patient care. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage long shifts, and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging with professionalism and compassion.This is a Monday–Friday position, with occasional Saturday events as scheduled.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform digital screening mammography exams using a Hologic mammography unit.Travel to assigned sites and provide imaging services in a professional, timely manner.Work independently and manage daily schedules without direct on-site supervision.Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations.Deliver excellent patient care, maintaining sensitivity and empathy during exams.Perform daily quality control checks and maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality.Accurately document patient information, imaging data, and complete required paperwork.Adapt to long hours, changing environments, and a solo work setting.QualificationsARRT (R)(M) certification required.Current state licensure in Radiologic Technology (where applicable).Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred; Hologic machine experience highly desirable.Strong ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced, traveling schedule.Excellent communication and patient care skills.Must be comfortable with long hours, travel, and working solo.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.What We OfferCompetitive compensation with travel reimbursement.Opportunity to serve communities across multiple locations.Supportive management team and ongoing training.A rewarding role that directly impacts women’s health.
