Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty:ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline:RN Start Date:ASAP Duration:13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift:12 hours, nights Employment Type:Travel Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a Medical Intensive Care Unit. The RN will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities: Provide direct care to ICU patients with high-acuity medical and respiratory conditions Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and ventilated patients Manage drips including vasoactive and cardiac medications Care for patients with conditions such as stroke, respiratory failure, cardiac issues, renal failure, and sepsis Perform central line, arterial line, and IV therapy management Respond to emergencies and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias Float to appropriate units within scope as needed Requirements: Active RN license Minimum 2 years of ICU experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Experience with ventilators, cardiac monitoring, and critical care drips Ability to work every other weekendMinimum 2 years of ICU experience BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Experience with ventilators, cardiac monitoring, and critical care drips About Prime StaffingAt Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
