Travel School Psych - Mobile, Alabama
Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A professional opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide itinerant support within K-12 educational settings across multiple schools in the Mobile, AL area. This travel position will serve various school locations, with specific assignments to be announced by late March. The role involves working approximately 37.5 hours per week, supporting students psychological and educational needs on a flexible, itinerant basis.Key Responsibilities:Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and well-being.Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.Monitor student progress and modify support strategies to meet evolving needs.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant state and district policies.Qualifications and Experience:Active and valid Alabama school psychology license.Experience working with K-12 students in school settings.Strong assessment and intervention skills.Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple schools.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Location: Mobile, Alabama (Itinerant travel required among assigned schools).This position offers the opportunity to positively impact diverse student populations across several schools while enjoying the variety that a travel role provides.
