Water Resources EngineerFull Time/ContractorPMG & Associates, LLC is an engineering company in Caguas, Puerto Rico, that provides engineering design and consulting services with expertise in water resources, structural engineering, civil site design, construction management, environmental assessments, and permits. We are driven by our core values: Quality and Excellence, Strong Relationships, Integrity, Respect, and Teamwork.Job Summary:The Water Resources Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and managing water resource projects within an engineering design, consulting, and management services firm. This role involves conducting hydrological and hydraulic analyses, developing water management strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The Water Resources Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions that address water-related challenges for clients in various sectors.Essential Duties:Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to assess water flow, quality, and availability in various projects.Design and evaluate water resource systems, including stormwater management, flood control, and water supply systems.Develop and implement water management plans and strategies that align with regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to gather project requirements and ensure compliance with environmental standards.Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals, presenting findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery within scope and schedule.Conduct field investigations and site assessments to collect data and evaluate existing water resource conditions.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best water resource management practices.Requirements:B.S. in Civil EngineeringM.S. in Water Resources preferredMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.0PE/EIT certification preferredEntry level to 5 years of stormwater management, civil site design-related experienceRequired experience in MS Office, AutoCADPreferred software experience in ArcGIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ICPRDemonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work in a team environmentStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsBilingual, strong written and verbal communicationSelf-driven, analytical, able to follow directions and contribute to the teamSkills:Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and water resource management principlesProficient in water modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM) and GIS applicationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutionsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in technical documentation and reportingAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management softwareJob Type: Full-time in Puerto Rico or Professional Services ContractRelocation Package availableSchedule:Monday to FridayEqual Opportunity Employer
