This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For moreinformation, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13494770PositionCashco is searching for a full-time Warehouse Utility person inEllsworth.SummaryThe Warehouse Utility performs a variety of tasks to ensure the smoothfunctioning operation of the warehouse.Responsibilities Handling incoming and outgoing shipments, loading and unloadingtrucks, and ensuring items are properly stacked and secured. Keeping track of inventory levels, organizing stock, and conductingregular inventory counts. Report damaged or incorrect items and coordinate with supervisors toresolve discrepancies. Assisting with shipping and receiving, helping to prepare orders forshipment, verifying incoming shipments against packing slips orpurchase orders, and ensuring accuracy for documentation. Following safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries,including wearing appropriate protective gear, using equipmentsafely, and maintaining a hazard-free work environment. Communicate with other warehouse employees to complete taskseffectively and efficiently, provide support as needed. Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements and otherrelated information. Complete necessary paperwork such as receiving logs, reports, andinventory records to document receipt of goods. Understand production schedules and time sensitive tasks. Move production jobs to and in between operations. Assume responsibility for proper handoff and initiating nextoperations as applicableQualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional training orcertifications valuable in warehouse is a plus. Basic knowledge of inventory control systems and warehousemanagement is preferred. Must be able to drive a forklift. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment ispreferred. Must be able to stand for long periods at a time, lift heavy objects(up to 50lbs) and perform physical tasks daily.
