Job Summary Our client, a leading retail and eCommerce provider, is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer to join their Digital DevSecOps team. This is a contract opportunity, supporting digital applications across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud environments.Contract DetailsContractWork Location: Irving, TXWork Arrangement: Fully onsite, 5 days per weekCore ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure and backend applications across AWS, GCP, and Azure environmentsBuild and maintain containerized applications using Docker, including AWS ECS, EKS, and Fargate environmentsDevelop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processesAutomate infrastructure and operational processes using Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure as Code toolsCollaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA teams, DevOps Engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycleTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely and reliable solutionsParticipate in architecture and design reviews, code reviews, technical mentoring, and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)7+ years of experience in cloud computing, cloud architecture, DevOps, and automationStrong hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and CloudWatchExperience developing and supporting cloud-native applications and high-volume retail or eCommerce transaction systemsStrong knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code, along with Ansible or other configuration management toolsHands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern software development practicesDevelopment experience using Python, Node.js, or Java, with knowledge of tools such as JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, or JenkinsStrong Linux/system administration, database management, troubleshooting, and cloud infrastructure skillsPreferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)Experience with mobile application CI/CD, including Firebase distribution and AWS Device FarmExperience using AI tools and configuring AI agents to support DevOps activitiesExperience working with GCP and Azure cloud platformsExperience with application performance monitoring using New RelicAWS, GCP, or Azure cloud certificationsExperience in omnichannel commerce, convenience retail, digital commerce platforms, or order management systemsExperience with inventory management, pricing and promotions, or customer loyalty platformsKey Competencies & BehaviorsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teamsSelf-directed, organized, and demonstrates a strong bias for action with minimal directionCollaborative team player with a startup/entrepreneurial mindsetPassionate about learning new technologies, solving complex problems, and continuously improving processesWork EnvironmentLocation: Irving, TXWork Arrangement: OnsiteOnsite Requirement: 5 days per weekCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $38.00 and $55.00 an hour.
