A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.ResponsibilitiesNotify immediate supervisor about any hotel rooms that need to be placed out of order for maintenance concernsResponsible for stripping hotel rooms, removing trash and assisting Room Attendants as neededEnsure all bedding, including duvet covers, are changed between each guestContinually maintain inventory of linens, cleaning supplies and guest amenities to ensure adequate supplies in accordance with established par levels and timeframesMaintain the storage rooms with at least one (1) par clean at all timesReport and correct deficiencies noted in hotel rooms or public areas to the appropriate individualsVacuum carpets, clean hallways, clean emergency stairs, dust areas as assigned, remove trash, clean and maintain landing areas and linen closetsEnsure your immediate supervisor knows where you are located in the hotel at all timesAssist in the timely completion of all projects including mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleanings, etc.Maintain constant communication between all departmentsNotify immediate supervisor of stock shortages and/or malfunctioning equipmentPossess knowledge of all hotel services and amenitiesMaintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work areaAttend relevant meetingsCore CompetenciesHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)Three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferredStrong communication skillsCollaborative spiritEthical ConductComputer Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Opera PMSPositive AttitudeEye for DetailProblem solving abilitiesCompensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive wages and benefits while fostering a diverse and inclusive work experience.We thrive in being a diverse work environment.
