Machine OperatorPay Rate: $19.00 $21.00/hourSchedule: 12-hour shifts (various midweek and weekend options available)Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire PotentialAbout the RoleEastridge Workforce Solutions is currently hiring dependable Machine Operators for the Wind-Up Department at a leading manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating wind-up machines, managing plastic materials, and ensuring final product quality. This role plays a key part in maintaining production flow and upholding safety and operational standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate turning machines (wind-up equipment) to process plastic materialsVerify proper layer counts on each finished rollStamp and label cores legibly and accuratelyWeigh and stack completed rolls into designated containersMonitor containers (Gaylords) for fullness and manage replacementsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workstationFollow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelinesSupport team and leadership with additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required02 years of machine operation or general manufacturing experience preferredComfortable working with production tools including box cutters and other sharp instrumentsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet throughout the shiftMust be able to wear all required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, hair nets) while on the production floorReliable attendance and strong attention to detail are essentialWork EnvironmentIndoor, climate-controlled production facilityExposure to moving machinery, vibration, dust, noise, and standard manufacturing chemicalsStanding, walking, lifting, and repetitive tasks required throughout shiftEastridge Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
