Social Media Strategist & Community Manager

Eques Solutions is seeking a part-time creative, organized, self-motivated, and trend-aware Social Media Strategist & Community Manager to help manage and grow social media accounts for clients within the equestrian industry.This is a primarily remote position for candidates located in Palm Beach County. Occasional in-person collaboration, content shoots, horse shows, or event coverage may be requested.This role is ideal for someone who understands both social media marketing and the equestrian lifestyle — including horse shows, barns, trainers, riders, equine businesses, and luxury branding.You will work directly with our owner and creative team, including photographers, videographers, designers, and editors, to turn content into growth, engagement, and results for our clients.We are looking for someone who can think strategically, communicate professionally, manage their time independently, and take ownership of client account success.ResponsibilitiesSocial Media ManagementManage day-to-day operations of client social media accountsSchedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedInOrganize and maintain monthly content calendarsEnsure all content aligns with each client’s brand and audienceStrategy & GrowthUnderstand social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategiesDevelop content ideas tailored to equestrian audiencesResearch trends, hashtags, audio, and competitor activityHelp increase audience growth, engagement, and visibilityIdentify content opportunities during horse shows, events, and seasonal campaignsCommunity ManagementRespond to comments and direct messages professionally and promptlyEngage with followers, riders, trainers, horse owners, horse shows, horse show sponsors and other equestrian/luxury brandsHelp create authentic community interaction and audience loyaltyEscalate sensitive client or customer concerns when necessaryContent CoordinationCoordinate with photographers, videographers, editors, and designersWrite captions, hooks, story content, and calls-to-actionAssist in planning reels, carousel posts, stories, and campaignsHelp organize content from horse shows, barns, events, and client shootsReporting & OrganizationTrack engagement and account performanceProvide simple monthly summaries and insightsStay organized using scheduling and project management toolsCommunicate proactively with team members and clients when neededQualificationsRequiredExperience managing business social media accountsStrong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current platform trendsUnderstanding of short-form video strategy and engagement tacticsExcellent writing and communication skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedSelf-motivated with strong time management skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentAccountable, reliable, and proactiveAbility to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneouslyStrongly PreferredKnowledge of the equestrian industryFamiliarity with horse shows, barns, riders, trainers, equine businesses and luxury brandsLocated in or near Wellington, Palm Beach County, or surrounding South Florida equestrian communitiesExperience creating or managing lifestyle or luxury brand contentExperience working in a marketing agency environmentUnderstanding of equestrian audiences and cultureAI & Modern Marketing ToolsWe embrace modern AI tools as part of an efficient workflow, but authenticity and human creativity remain essential to our brand and client relationships.Ideal candidates should:Be comfortable using AI tools for research, organization, brainstorming, caption drafting, and workflow efficiencyUnderstand how to use AI without losing authentic brand voice and audience connectionKnow the difference between helpful automation and generic contentTools We UseExperience with these platforms is a plus:CanvaCapCutChatGPTLaterBufferClickUpWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleClient accounts grow consistentlyEngagement improves over timeContent reflects authentic equestrian culture and brandingSocial media stays organized, timely, and strategicClients feel supported and professionally representedThe creative team operates efficiently togetherWork is completed consistently without micromanagementImportant NotesThis is not a basic “post content” role.We are looking for someone who:understands strategy,understands branding,understands social media culture,can work independently,and ideally understands the equestrian world and horse show environment.This role requires someone who is proactive, dependable, creative, and comfortable managing responsibilities remotely with professionalism and accountability.To ApplyPlease send to bobbi@equessolutions.comResumePortfolio or social accounts managedExamples of reels/posts you helped createBrief explanation of your social media strategy experience and education Any equestrian industry experience or involvementPlatforms you are strongest onWhy you believe you are a strong fit for a remote and self-managed work environment
